Pakistan bus crash: At least 14 wedding guests killed after river plunge | World News

At least 14 people have been killed after a bus carrying wedding guests crashed into a river in Pakistan.The bus was carrying around two dozen passengers. Searches continue for bodies and survivors. There are differing reports about the number of people who have died, with some local officials saying 18 people had been confirmed dead after the crash into the Indus River in northern Pakistan.It's been reported the bus left the road at the Thalichi Bridge. A party of 27 people were heading to Chakwal, a city in the Punjab province, government spokesman Faizullah Faraq said.At least nine people are thought to still be missing. Investors who scored a little more interest from their callable certificates of deposit may soon find themselves left out in the cold. The Federal Reserve last week dialed back interest rates by a quarter point, bringing its target rate range down to 4.5%-4.75%.
