VisionQuest web series review A finale that trades action for

Marvel has brought Vision back from the dead more than once, but VisionQuest asks a question that goes beyond whether a superhero can survive death – what makes someone who they are? The third instalment in the television trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along shifts the focus from Wanda Maximoff’s grief and Billy’s search for identity to a Vision still trying to understand himself. The result is a thoughtful, entertaining start that gives its superhero story something more to chew on than action and nostalgia.

The series follows White Vision (Paul Bettany), who regained his memories in WandaVision but was left without the emotional connections of the original Vision. Now, he is trying to understand humanity and reconcile the memories he has with the person he believes he is. His journey intersects with Tommy Shepherd’s (Ruaridh Mollica), a troubled young man with fragmented memories. As danger closes in, Vision must confront a question he has been avoiding, does he have a responsibility towards someone he believes he has no emotional connection with?
