In the 2nd ODI held at Barbados, West Indies emerged victorious, defeating India by six wickets. The match saw West Indies score 182/4 while chasing India’s total of 181/10, making it a thrilling encounter.

In a thrilling encounter, West Indies managed to level the series 1-1 by beating India by six wickets in the 2nd ODI at Barbados. Skipper Shai Hope and Keacy Carter played crucial roles, adding 91 runs for the fourth wicket and guiding their team to victory. This win marked West Indies’ first victory against India in the ODI format since December 2019.

Romario Shepherd delivered an exceptional performance, achieving his career-best ODI bowling figures, while Gudakesh Motie also shined, claiming three wickets as they restricted India to 181 runs.

At the beginning of the match, West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and chose to bowl first. Stand-in captain Hardik Pandya led the Indian team in this match, with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli rested. Sanju Samson and Axar Patel took their places in the playing XI. The hosts also made two changes, with Alzarri Joseph and Keacy Carty joining the lineup.

The ODI series between India and West Indies is currently tied at 1-1. India won the first match by five wickets, while West Indies secured a six-wicket victory in the second ODI.
