The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently declared that the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be administered in the offline mode, specifically the traditional pen-paper format, on August 20, 2023. The examination will be conducted in two shifts, and candidates can obtain their admit cards from the official website. The application process commenced on April 27 and concluded on May 26.
In a recent announcement, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) disclosed the exam date for CTET 2023 on June 9. The 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 20, 2023. According to an official notice issued by the central board, a significant change has been implemented. Unlike previous editions, the CBSE CTET will now be conducted offline in pen-paper (OMR) based mode.
“The candidates registered for the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are hereby informed that the CTET examination will now be conducted in offline mode, i.e., pen-paper (OMR) based on 20.08.2023 (SUNDAY) all over India in the specified cities,” as mentioned in the notice.
The CBSE had already provided comprehensive details regarding the examination, including the syllabus, eligibility criteria, language options, and more on the official website of CBSE CTET, ctet.nic.in.
Furthermore, the notice states, “The detailed Information Bulletin, which includes comprehensive information about the examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, and other relevant details, is already accessible on the official website of CTET: https://ctet.nic.in.”
The CBSE CTET exam will be held in two shifts: Shift 1 will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, and Shift 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
