I missed my class again today, but I’m hoping to see better days. I did my meditation then. Now, the first chapter of,’JANE EYRE’: Jane takes us through the abuse she endured as a child. She was abused by her Aunt’s son. Beth seemed like the good one, but one’s gotta do her job. They take Jane to a separate room after Jane talks back to that Aunt’s son. Today was such a tedious day at the gym. I burned, like, more than 350 calories. It won’t be a big deal for you but it is one for me. My trainer was mad at me for taking up so much time, but in my defense, I’d rather take my time than break a few bones or sprain my muscles; I’m a human(Christina Perri’s note) after all. I woke up late and missed my class. But I was, sure as hell, not gonna let that be the starter of a domino effect of ruining my whole day’s tasks. In the 4th rule, Author David Schwartz talks about a valuable habit of leaders: taking the time to be alone with your thoughts. And I utterly agree on this one, because that’s when I made my best decisions. For instance, the idea of creating a blogging site popped into my head whilst such a lapse of solitude; and it worked out pretty well for me. I woke up at 7:38 AM today. What a shame! I should be thrown into jail for so many strikes. But if you woke early since day one or even just for today, I’m proud of you. Keep excelling. Yes, woke up early as promised to you all. Then started meditation right away, without any holdup. Morning is the best. It’s the best time to study, to meditate, to exercise. I’ve noticed that in the morning we retain the full attention of our mind on any task that we perform. Thus, it’s easier to meditate and study. For exercise, early morning has fresh air so better this huge amount of oxygen results in proper brain function. Now when I say early morning, I mean 4-5 or 6 AM. Well, it’s 6 AM for me. Now don’t put me behind bars but I did two mistakes today: 1. Didn’t wake up at 6. My bad. 2. Wanted to shut this programme down because of the first reason. I’m deeply ashamed of myself. I should’ve woken up early and should not have thought of quitting. But for my honesty I think I deserve your forgiveness. All aside, the rest worked as planned. ​I am a 17 years old with clinical depression for the last 3 years. I've been on medication for quite a few months now feeling better but now I want to start a segment with the readers wherein we change our lives together, where we live our ideal day and strive to achieve our goals. I'll be implementing a few methods that professional psychiatrists and life advisors suggest. Steps to be inculcated: 1. The sleep cycle. I workout at the gym and am advised 8 hours of sleep. So I plan to sleep at 10:30 PM and wake up at 6:30 AM. But if you wanna try waking up earlier, do it. You may want to sleep in between 10-10:35 PM and wake up in between 4:00 to 5:30 AM.
