Reflecting on the controversy, the actress revealed that she faced harassment, damaging rumours and even a fake MMS scandal, which she claims deeply affected her personal and professional life.

Speaking about the aftermath of leaving the show, Shilpa alleged that she was deliberately targeted. “After I quit Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, people made my life miserable. I was harassed in many ways, and several false stories were spread about me,” she said.
