Panchayat season 5 confirmed as season 4 continues to break

Following the breakthrough success of its previous seasons, the much-loved series Panchayat returned with Season 4 on June 24. With that has already solidified its standing as both a local and global sensation. Ever since its release, the show has been breaking records. Season 4 has been trending at #1 in India and was streamed across 95&#37 of the country’s pin codes in the first week.

Besides, the latest season also recorded the strongest opening in the franchise, surpassing all previous seasons in viewership. On day one of launch, Panchayat Season 4 was trending among the Top 10 titles in over 42 countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the UAE, among others, while being streamed in more than 180 countries during its launch week.

Riding on the overwhelming response to Season 4, the makers and Prime Video have confirmed that Season 5 is already in development and will officially premiere in 2026. Ever since its debut on Prime Video in 2018, Jitendra Kumar-starrer Panchayat has consistently managed to win hearts and earned critical acclaim. Season 2 won the inaugural Best Web Series (OTT) Award at the 54th International Film Festival of India in 2023. And now with Season 4 delivering the biggest opening for the series yet, the franchise continues to scale new heights.
