The makers of Money Heist have officially confirmed that the world of La Casa de Papel is continuing to expand. The news comes nearly five years after the acclaimed original series concluded its five-season run in 2021.
Makers announce Money Heist expansion
On Sunday, Netflix released a new teaser titled “The world of Money Heist continues”, hinting that the franchise continues to remain active beyond its existing spin-offs and adaptations. The announcement was shared through the official La Casa de Papel Instagram account, which posted a red-and-black themed promotional clip carrying the message, which read, “El Bella Ciao SIGUE sonando. El universo de ‘La casa de papel’ continua,” which translates “Bella Ciao is STILL playing. The world of ‘Money Heist’ continues” in English.
