Magnitude 6.7 earthquake strikes off coast of Papua New Guinea, USGS says

A magnitude 6.7 earthquake has struck off the coast of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea, the US Geological Survey says.

The quake was at a depth of 52 kilometres, USGS added.
