Boasting a plastic body, this new laptop is equipped with an octa-core Mediatek MT 8788 processor. The JioBook 4G showcases a captivating JioBlue hue and comes with an embedded Jio SIM card. Its connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and an HDMI mini port. Powering the JioBook (2023) is a 5,000mAh battery that promises an impressive 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Price and Availability: In India, the JioBook (2023) is available at a competitive price of Rs. 16,499. The laptop can be pre-ordered through Amazon, Reliance Digital’s e-commerce website, and leading retail stores. It will be officially on sale starting from August 5.
JioBook (2023) Specifications: The JioBook (2023) runs on the Android-based JioOS operating system and features an 11.6-inch HD display with a resolution of 768×1366 pixels. Sporting a plastic body, the 4G laptop comes with an inbuilt 4G SIM card. Its processing power comes from the octa-core MediaTek MT8788 processor, paired with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The available storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. On the other hand, last year’s JioBook was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage.
Connectivity options on the JioBook (2023) include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, an HDMI mini port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop boasts dual stereo speakers and features a 2-megapixel web camera. Its 5,000mAh battery offers a remarkable battery life of up to eight hours on a single charge. Moreover, the JioBook (2023) is exceptionally lightweight, tipping the scales at just 990 grams. This is a significant improvement over the previous model, which weighed 1.2 kilograms.
