The biggest sign of a show’s success is it being renewed for a second season. Rumours are rife that the creative team of Alien: Earth, the Ridley Scott-backed sci-fi series that premièred on August 12, has begun work on its second edition. Not just that, Adarsh Gourav, who plays Slightly in the show that explores humanity’s encounter with the xenomorph threat in 2120, is expected to reprise his role.
While Gourav is tight-lipped about whether the Noah Crawley-directed series’ next season has been greenlit, he is vocal about his enthusiasm to return to its world. The actor said, “The creators have built such a rich world that as an actor, it’s a privilege to contribute to a story of this scale. I would gladly return for as many future seasons as they’d like me to be part of. Projects like Alien: Earth remind me why I chose this profession and why storytelling across borders matters.”
Working with co-actors Sydney Chandler and Alex Lawther has been an enriching experience for Gourav, as he added, “When you work with such a talented team, you realise you’re part of something special.”
