Day 2: Change your life

Now don’t put me behind bars but I did two mistakes today:
1. Didn’t wake up at 6. My bad.
2. Wanted to shut this programme down because of the first reason.
I’m deeply ashamed of myself. I should’ve woken up early and should not have thought of quitting. But for my honesty I think I deserve your forgiveness. All aside, the rest worked as planned.

I folded the sheets as soon as I woke up and meditated. Today’s meditation, I was so sorry for not having woken up early. Guess I realized how important time is and also that it never comes back. Today’s word of the day is dorsal. Look up on Google what it means.

Then I read ‘THE MAGIC OF THINKING BIG’. I read chapter 12: Use Goals to Help You Grow. I had already started the book. And personally, I advise you read the chapter rather than the summery on the last page. The chapter has some believable examples. Author David Schwartz talks about the next mile rule which I love. And also talks about how, when we surrender to our goals, we build a power and an automatic instructonist, I think that’s what it is. I’m definitely going to try the next mile rule and try to continue this programme for 30 days.

I ate my apple and went for the gym. Today in the gym was my cardio day, 20 minutes Recumbent exercise bike.

Then I spent the next 15 minutes on the Elliptical machine (aka cross trainer).

Then 15 mins on a spin bike. 150 jumps on a skipping rope, some hanging and stretching. That’s all. You do not necessarily have to got to a gym to exercise. You can definitely practice at home.

Then I drank my protein shake, ate salad and had breakfast. Then I did some research for my college programme. And then lunch, green tea, some more work, salad and dinner.

I thought of eating some packaged food, but I didn’t since I promised you guys that I wouldn’t and also because I like to believe that you’ve put your faith in me. I was also lost on Instagram for a bit but then I gained my consciousness and quit it.

I saw half of my MIT programming lecture and I’m very excited about learning python. And I even wrote an essay about our Banjara Community. That’s all for today. Will meditate at night and then off to bed.
