Details of Coromandel Express Accident: Triple Train Derailment and Collision in Odisha

The train crash took place near the Bahanaga Baazar station, located in the Balasore district of Odisha. The station is situated approximately 250 km south of Kolkata and about 170 km north of Bhubaneswar. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on June 2. In response to the tragic accident, the Indian Railways has initiated a probe into the incident. A.M. Chowdhary, Commissioner Railway Safety for the South East Circle, has been appointed to lead the investigation.
