Though Adolf Hitler is the protagonist in Look Who’s Back, it may as well be any modern politician who uses the same tactics to garner attention from the media and masses to rise to power. Waking up in the year 2011 not knowing he lost World War II, Hitler experiences a profound sense of culture shock, as he is trying to to interpret the world trough the lens of 1945 Nazi Germany. Homeless, afraid, and unaware of the current state of world politics, he saunters through the early chapters, trying to figure out where he belongs. The answer to his question is that he doesn’t belong anywhere but the past, where he can no longer harm anybody through his reign of terror. Source link

While examining previous journal entries, Evan comes to learn that he is gifted, or perhaps cursed, with the power of time travel, allowing him to correct some of the mistakes of his past. In one harrowing sequence, Evan goes back to his youth to prevent his childhood friend’s father from sexually abusing him and the other neighborhood kids, changing the course of his future forever. As The Butterfly Effect builds to an epic climax, Evan learns that his ability to change the past may not always work in his favor, and that some of his trauma was necessary to shape him into the person that he is today. As Time Trap’s mystery deepens, Taylor and Jackie bring a friend named Cara, her sister, Veeves, and a friend of her sister named Furby. They find the hidden cave with climbing ropes rigged for use at its opening and decide to go in while Furby stays at their camp with a radio to communicate with the cave explorers. Jackie tries to climb out of the time trap cave, but the rope fails, which causes her to fall and land on Taylor. The impact injures them both, and they try radioing Furby for help. Oddly, they get a transmission from inside the cave, which prompts them to go deeper into the unknown cave system. Source link

Paul Mescal plays the grown Lucius, and Connie Nielsen is back to play his mother, Lucilla. Lucious isn’t Roman royalty in Gladiator II, though. Instead, he’s the featured gladiator, quite likely as part of the ludus owned and run by Denzel Washington’s Macrinus. Pedro Pascal lends his acting talents to Marcus Acacius, a Roman general who served under Maximus before treachery sent him to the gladiatorial arenas of the Roman Empire.  Source link

However, these Moon caves could help with more than just shelter. Scientists have long been in the search for signs that life existed on the moon at some point. With how exposed to the elements the exterior of the moon is, any remnants of life would have been highly damaged. But any other life forms that did once live on the Moon likely also had the wherewithal to seek shelter, which means if there were going to be fossils or anything else that showed signs of life, they would likely also be in the caves. Ironically, the cave that has been discovered was right in the vicinity of where Apollo 11 first landed in 1969. In the trailer for Longlegs, the audience receives only a split second of Nicolas Cage’s character on the screen. He also remained absent for most of the publicity tour for the highly anticipated serial killer horror film and was marked as not available for any interviews in the film’s international press junket.  One of Nicolas Cage’s co-stars, Alicia Witt, explained in an interview with Metro.co.uk that she “had no idea how scary it (Cage) was going to be. I mean, it was so scary that you need a new word to describe what he looks like!”. While the film is the top-ranked film on the Netflix global rankings, critics aren’t giving it rave reviews. Decider says to stream it instead of skipping it because the movie is entertaining, but don’t expect to be overwhelmed. The average critics score on Rotten Tomatoes is a fairly low 40 percent, which is double the rating given by the few viewers who have rated the film so far. Who took the children and why in Vanished Into the Night? Does the father have a particular set of skills or know someone who does that will make it possible to get them back? These are questions to which viewers seek answers during the 92-minute Netflix thriller. Source link

This interview came out the same year as A New Hope, and it provides a fascinating look into how the director’s mind works. Everybody thought George Lucas wanted to follow in Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi footsteps, but he instead discussed how he wanted to bring Edgar Burroughs-style storytelling to the big screen. In a final bit of irony, Star Wars became so popular and culturally pervasive that when Disney’s big-budget Burroughs adaptation of John Carter came out, it bombed in large part because audiences felt that Lucas had done this kind of story better a long, long time ago. Mission Hill follows 24-year-old retail employee Andy French (Wallace Langham) whose life dramatically changes when he takes in his 17-year-old brother Kevin (Scott Menville) when their parents pick up and move to Wyoming. The two brothers live with Andy’s roommates Jim Kuback (Brian Posehn) and Posey Tyler (Vicki Lewis) in the city’s neighborhood that bears the name of the show. Andy’s slacker nature counters the enthusiasm and nerdish qualities of his younger brother. Kevin is socially awkward, sheltered, and a certified genius. The two continually butt heads episode after episode, with asides from the stoic Jim and the pseudo-hippie Posey’s musings often helping to resolve their issues. Source link
