Micro-dosing Ozempic: the new weight loss trend

It’s a practice that is much talked about in the United States, with doctors including Dr Tyna Moore, who was recently interviewed on the podcast Diary of a CEO, and Dr Lauren Fitzgerald, touting the benefits. It’s catching on here, too. “Although it’s still relatively niche here, micro-dosing GLP-1 is becoming an appealing option for our patients for its metabolic, anti-inflammatory, and cognitive benefits,” according to Dr Lewis. In addition to those looking for weight loss, she says that the clinic is “seeing more interest from slim individuals, particularly women, who are exploring GLP-1 agonists” for brain health and longevity benefits. Best ski chalets for 2025 snow season: from Verbier to Tignes

Stay in: A sprawling single-floor penthouse sleeping 14, Chavinaud has a bird’s eye view over pretty Les Gets and out to the surrounding tree-lined slopes. Dark, moody tones in the kitchen and lounge lend contemporary contrast against the traditional alpine bones, while a dedicated kids’ room comes with a triple bunk bed and widescreen TV. It’s set in the heart of the wood-clad old town, three minutes’ walk from the main lift station and high street, but after a long day skiing there’s just one place you’ll want to hang out: in the terrace hot tub. Why Rod Stewart will always be my fashion icon

From crop tops and flares to leopard print and coordinating suits, there are endless iconic looks from Sir Rod that I admire. As someone who has never dressed in a particularly girly way, but I enjoy a strong look, his style offers so much in the way of fun gender neutral looks. Of course there’s also the likes of Elton John, David Bowie and many more from that era who all pushed boundaries and challenged the conventions of fashion, but Sir Rod Stewart has always, for me, been a cut above the rest. While a record-breaking 5.4 million viewers tuned in on New Year’s Day to watch 22 new contestants attempt to deduce the "traitors" from the "faithful" for a prize of £120,000, many will be drawn back to see what farmhouse-chic delights host Claudia Winkleman is serving (with a fringe) on the fashion front. The TraitorsBBCWith three new outfits delivered each episode, her expert mix of tartan kilts, tweed capes, snug cardigans, chunky knits, tempting fingerless mitts and the odd pair of fetching jodhpurs last year led to declarations of “traitors-core” followed by the confirmation of “the C...

Kate Middleton’s birthday: The Princess of Wales’ 43 most fabulous looks on her 43rd

After a tumultuous year for the royal known warmly by many as Kate Middleton, the princess is set to enjoy the day at Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor with husband the Prince of Wales and their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis — a change, due to school term starting, from her usual day spent in the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.
