Having created a niche for herself with slice-of-life and romantic stories like Girl in the City (2016), Little Things (2016-21) and Karwaan (2018), Palkar now wants to play characters far removed from herself. Jed Wallace and Street Relations are suing the actor for defamation after Lively allegedly pulled them into her legal fight with co-star and director Justin Baldoni over the film.Wallace filed a $7-million lawsuit in federal court in Texas on Tuesday, stating that he had nothing to do with any campaign to harm Lively’s reputation as she alleged in a court filing from December 2024. A woman from New Zealand has filed three civil lawsuits accusing best-selling British author Neil Gaiman of repeatedly sexually assaulting her while she was working as his family’s babysitter and nanny. Scarlett Pavlovich filed the lawsuits — one against Gaiman and his wife, Amanda Palmer, and two more against Palmer — in federal court in Wisconsin, Massachusetts and New York on Monday.The Associated Press doesn’t identify people who say they have been sexually assaulted unless they publicly identify themselves.
