Prosecutors in Utah said Tuesday that they would not file charges against Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul following a domestic violence investigation involving Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. Police in the Salt Lake City suburbs of Draper City and West Jordan have been investigating claims of domestic violence in 2024 and this February from Mortensen, the father of Paul’s two-year-old son, Ever. Actor Vijay Varma, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming crime drama and thriller series ‘Matka King’, has spoken up on the nuances of his gambling lord, and how he put together the character. In the series, Vijay essays the role of a fictional gambling lord, who operates a string of matkas (gambling pots) across Mumbai. To fine tune his character, Vijay got in touch with a magician, who taught him the card tricks. The actor spoke with IANS during the promotions of the show, and shared how he honed his skills with the card, and spent 10 months with the deck of cards. No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont revealed over the weekend that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, weeks before the band is set to begin a Las Vegas residency. Dumont explained in an Instagram video that he first started experiencing symptoms years ago, prompting a series of medical appointments with neurologists, tests and eventually a diagnosis. It took writer Divy Nidhi Sharma a year to write the Divya Dutta-starrer Chiraiya, which he describes as a “traumatic” experience. His next project, then, had to be light-hearted. Sharma shifted gears to write the mythological horror comedy Nayyi Navelli. He says, “Chiraiya was gut-wrenching. I feel that the audience watching [may] not be able to see it. [I had to put myself] in Arun’s shoes and imagine what would have happened. It was a traumatic experience.
