Extraction 2 release date, cast, trailer and more about Netflix sequel

Extraction, one of the top ten most-watched Netflix movies with current ranking is sixth. The success resultant sequel of the movie and thus Netflix confirmed about it as well. So Netflix has announced the second season of Extraction with the name Extraction 2 with Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. These two are the perfect combo of full on entertainment. Even recently, Netflix launched the trailer of Extraction 2 on its official YouTube Channel. With the trailer, one thing that all of us now clearly know is that Tyler is back after taking a bullet and he is evidently not weak anymore! He has proved that he is a beast when it comes to his duty and the man is back in action. But where is Extraction 2 taking us this season? Is there a new cast? The Best Sci-Fi Swear Words For Everyday Life

Red Dwarf is another sci-fi series from England, and another swear word to add to your lexicon is the lovely smeg. This is a way to say that other s-word with only four letters, either by itself or in phrases such as “deep smeg” or “a world of smeg.” For example, if you wake up as the last living human onboard a ship with the hologram of your last bunkmate, an evolved cat, and a fussy maintenance droid, you would say, in a low, slow tone, smeg. Smeg head is a common phrase, usually to describe Rimmer, the last living human and a very lazy, very cowardly man that, if not for his historical value, would have been jettisoned light years ago. In the quest to find new and creative ways to insult Rimmer, the rest of the crew keep coming up with new variations of smeg and also, twonk, a differen...

The Acolyte Needs Star Wars Fans To Save It And There’s One Perfect Way

So, what would a fan edit of The Acolyte look like? Well, I’m just guessing, but I assume it would start by cutting down the length—trimming the fat, as it were. The Acolyte already feels like a movie arbitrarily cut and lengthened to make a limited series. Somewhere in the roughly five hours of footage, there’s bound to be a tight 90-minute film. I also assume some fan editor will restructure the narrative so that Episode 7 comes earlier in the story, closer to Episode 3. Not right after mind you, but close enough that the two flashbacks feel like different sides of the same coin. Source link

Netflix Fantasy Comedy Classic Is The Most Quotable Movie Ever

Usually when you review any kind of media—be it movie, TV show, novel, or video game—you’ve got to give some sense of the plot and yes, I’ll do that here, but Monty Python and the Holy Grail is an interesting case because the plot makes about as much sense as a coconut-laden swallow. The late Graham Chapman plays King Arthur, while future Oscar-nominated filmmaker Terry Gilliam plays his faithful coconut-slapping Patsy (no one rides horses in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, they bang coconuts). The pair are visited by God, who sets them on the quest to find the Holy Grail. Arthur is soon joined by such legendary figures as Sir Lancelot (John Cleese), Sir Robin (Eric Idle), Sir Bedevere (Terry Jones), Sir Galahad (Michael Palin), and of course Sir Not Appearing In This Film. The Nicolas Cage Action Comedy On Peacock Everyone Overlooked

The most important element of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is the stellar acting of its two leading men, Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal. Both men expertly deliver comedic performances while selling themselves as action heroes when the movie calls for it. Pascal proves he’s a top-tier talent who can land jokes while exuding a slight sense of menace, while Cage lands an easy home run in a role written specifically for him.  Throughout The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, the genre constantly shifts, leaning into various tones and tropes that Nicolas Cage is known for. It veers from dark comedy, to slapstick, to spy thriller, to stoner comedy, and then becomes a full-blown action movie in its final act. These genre shifts keep the movie dynamic and inventive from beginning to en...

Netflix Sci-Fi Epic Series Is The One Anime Everyone Needs To Binge

Along with following Shinji, NERV, and the other EVA pilots’ battles against the Angels, Neon Genesis Evangelion can also be a very contemplative show, often giving us insights into the psyches of the pilots and the interpersonal lives of the staff at NERV. There’s also a genuinely engrossing mystery about the Angels, the Evangelions, and the plans of Gendo Ikari, Shinji’s father and the director of NERV. And despite there only being 26 episodes of the series, you get to know these complex characters more than many shows that have double-digit seasons to tell their stories.  Source link

Star Trek: Discovery’s Greatest Homage To The Next Generation

Obviously, Star Trek: Discovery has plenty more overt references to The Next Generation in its final season, going so far as to include multiple references to Captain Picard and even providing an appearance from Geordi LaForge’s VISOR. However, for my latinum, nothing beats “Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad” from being the ultimate homage to TNG…specifically, to three of that show’s finest episodes. Unfortunately, this was the only comedic episode of early Discovery, making the rest of the season feel like we were stuck in our own time loop of endlessly bleak NuTrek storytelling. Source link

The Insane 90s Sci-Fi Series That Pushed The Boundaries Of Cable Television

Trying to explain the plot of Lexx is impossible, and doing so might get you committed, as you’d have to explain how the universe is under the control of His Divine Shadow, a seemingly immortal evil being, but that’s enough, as he wants to subjugate the neighboring universe, the Dark Universe as well. Within the first made-for-tv movie (four of which comprise the first season), we’re introduced to a ragtag crew of misfits and the strong, brave, and heroic revolutionary Oratal-B heretic leader Thodin (played by Barry Bostwick). Then, the typical sci-fi hero, Thodin, is killed off, and we realize that the lazy, traitorous courier and an escaped love slave are our main characters. Source link

Four new human cases of bird flu found in Colorado, US

Four new human cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza, or bird flu, infection in the state of Colorado have been confirmed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), bringing the total cases to nine since 2022. The four presumptive-positive cases were reported by the state on Friday, and the CDC confirmed the infection on Sunday, according to a press release, Xinhua news agency reported. All new cases were in farm workers who were involved in the depopulation of poultry at a commercial egg facility experiencing an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 virus. These workers reported symptoms after being exposed to infected poultry. The CDC said they reported "mild illness," including conjunctivitis and eye tearing, as well as fever, chills, coughing, sore...

The Boys Ending With Theatrical Movie?

The Boys ending things with a movie is an exciting idea in theory, but the fact that creator Eric Kripke seems hesitant about the whole thing does make it seem even less likely. Adding to the risk factor is the fact that the film would absolutely need to be as Rated-R as the rest of the series, making it an even less appealing pitch to the studio execs at Amazon. Of course, fans of the series would likely be buying tickets, but would that be enough to justify a big movie budget, marketing, and a theatrical release? Source link
