Diddy hit with more lawsuits, 3 men say they were drugged, sexually assaulted – National

Three men sued Sean “Diddy” Combs in New York on Thursday, claiming the hip-hop mogul drugged and raped them. The lawsuits, which were filed anonymously in a state court, add to a wave of sexual assault litigation against the rapper, producer and record executive as he also faces federal sex trafficking charges in New York.Thomas Giuffra, a New York attorney who filed Thursday’s lawsuits on the men’s behalf, said Combs used his power and wealth to take advantage of the accusers and then ensured their silence through threats and fear.“This is a long overdue opportunity for the victims to take the power back after carrying the burden of the assaults in silence for several years,” he said in a statement. “While a lawsuit will not undo the wrongs done to them, it enables the survivors to regai...

But their partying got out of hand and police were called "after glasses were hurled and punches thrown", the Sun said. Buckingham Palace said on Friday that palace officials were aware of an incident which had taken place outside the workplace following a reception at the official London residence of King Charles. "While this...

Xi’s RSVP is a snub to Trump, but the inauguration invite is still a big deal

By Stephen Collinson, CNN China's President Xi Jinping and US President-elect Donald Trump. Photo: AFP Analysis - Imagine the scene, at noon on 20 January, on the west front of the US Capitol. As Donald Trump swears to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution on the same spot where his supporters rioted four years ago, an extraordinary VIP guest looks on, overshadowing ex-presidents, military brass and members of Congress. Bundled up to ward off the winter chill is Xi Jinping, the hardline leader of China - the country almost everyone on the inaugural platform sees as an existential threat to US superpower dominance as a 21st century cold war accelerates. It's a fantastical picture, because even before sources on Thursday confirmed Xi wouldn't attend, it was obvious it could not...

NATO head warns allies must return to ‘war mindset’ – but is Europe listening? | World News

The head of NATO just told allies they must return to a "war mindset" and "turbo-charge" defence spending to counter growing threats in what is surely the most consequential speech by an alliance chief since the Cold War.The big question is whether national governments and their publics across Europe - including here in the UK - are listening. Sir Keir Starmer appears for now to favour peacetime priorities over preparing for war.His newly announced set of milestones includes voter-friendly goals such as raising living standards, reducing hospital waiting lists and building more homes, despite his own military chiefs increasingly sounding the alarm bell about the parlous state of defence. It is a very real example of how deciding to allocate - or not - billions of extra pounds to buy weapons...

Perth Zoo’s female elephant Permai set to depart in late January, months ahead of schedule

Photo: ABC News One of Perth Zoo's beloved elephants is leaving much sooner than originally planned after showing signs of loneliness. Female elephant Permai will be relocated to South Australia's Monarto Safari Park next month, about six months ahead of schedule, and before male elephant Putra Mas, who will wait until he's completed his annual hormonal surge. In 2018 Perth Zoo announced it would relocate both Asian elephants after the 2022 death of matriarch Tricia, to ensure the herd animals would be able to live with other elephants. But successful training with her moving crate, and the arrival of another elephant, Burma, at Monarto from Auckland, has convinced keepers to move Permai earlier. Inside Helena Christensen’s beauty routine

In the morning, I get up and tiptoe for a bitIt’s good to use that muscle group like that. I then wash my face. After I’ve taken my miniature Australian shepherd dog Kumar for a walk, I have a coffee then porridge, which I make with oat milk, cinnamon and maybe some pomegranate, banana and apple. After that, I usually try to do some work on my phone but rarely on computer; I’m not really a computer person (which is why I have 9,000 emails waiting to be opened).I start each day, especially during the winter, with a shallow bathI only fill it a third and add oils and sit in it rather than immersing myself, using a natural sponge to squeeze water over my body.I’m an accidental supermodelI was hesitant at the beginning; I didn’t want to be a model, it didn’t suit my personality to pose in fron...
